Leno was Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper between 2018 and 2021, but he soon lost his first-team place after Aaron Ramsdale arrived last summer.

The German has made four Premier League appearances in all of the 2021-22 campaign. He participated in the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup four times.

Marek Rodak and Paulo Gazzaniga shared goalkeeping responsibilities for Marco Silva’s side last season.

Leno becomes Fulham’s fourth first-team signing of the summer after the arrivals of Joao Palhinha, Andreas Pereira and Kevin Mbabu. They brought in Salomon from Shakhtar Donetsk Manor on a temporary deal.
