Tampa Bay Buccaneers Wide receiver Chris Godwin He took a big step back Friday from an ACL injury. Godwin, who tore his ACL in Week 15 of last season, participated in his first practice with the team.
The move shows Godwin has made significant progress since his ACL tear. There were hints early in camp when Godwin cleared the list of those unable to work out. While that was encouraging, it was hard to buy into Godwin’s quick recovery until he got on the field.
Godwin practiced Friday with a stoppage, a sign he still wants to protect his knee. His exit less than eight months after dealing with the injury is an encouraging sign for Buccaneer fans.
