British YouTuber Deji Olatunji has admitted that he is fighting on his brother KSI’s upcoming fight card because he can’t stay away from boxing even though he has yet to win.

Over the years, many YouTubers have dipped their toe into the world of boxing by doing at least one fight – and many have decided that one fight is enough, win or lose.

In Deji’s case, he entered the boxing ring three times and lost three times – first to Jake Paul, then to Vinny Hacker and most recently to Alex Wasabi.

While the Englishman has said he will quit the sport and stop trying to claim his own title, he is fighting on an August 27 card headlined by his brother KSI. Why you might ask? Well, he’s trying to be a role model for others.

Deji returns to YouTube before the battle on August 27

On July 30, Deji returned to YouTube, posting his first video since losing to Alex Wasabi.

“I know I said I won’t fight again, but I love the sport so much that I won’t give up, I won’t,” Deji told the audience. “I’m doing this for myself, I don’t care if people say ‘don’t fight again’, I want to fight again, so I’m doing it as simple as that.

I don’t give up and I want to show other people not to give up either. That’s why I want to be an example, because I know that many people give up and go the wrong way, but I want to show that… Look at me, I will not give up.

While some might excuse him for taking the easy fight, Deji is not doing so. Fosse has plenty of in-ring experience, and even KSI admits it will be a tough challenge for his brother.

Whether he will continue fighting if he gets his long-awaited win or finally hangs up his gloves for good is anyone’s guess. So, we’ll just have to wait and see.
