Vadim Abramov was jealous of his victory at the Nürburgring last weekend at the third event of the 2022 Esports Drifting Association.

The Nürburgring has proven itself in motorsport events, and last weekend’s virtual representation was no different. Esports Drift Association third round championship.

Friday’s three rounds of qualifying confirmed the tight spread of skill between each of the ESDA drivers who appeared in the final round of qualifying sessions, with another high minimum qualifying score of 87.5.

Vitaly Isayev, driver of the CarX Drift Racing Online Championship Virtual Drift Series, impressed the crowd with a top qualifying score of 96 in his ESDA race debut. Fan favorite Adriel Machado made too many mistakes and was unable to qualify, leaving the stunned fans silent.

The bracket eliminations began the next day, with Isaev cutting off Jack Lai and Vakaris Aliukas to take the top spot in the Next Level Racing team. DeSean Hack continued his strong form from the second round to meet Isaev in the Big 8.

Both drivers gave the judges a lot to think about, but after five minutes of deliberation, Huck emerged victorious. But Esaev should not have hidden his efforts to inform every ESDA driver.

The race continued in MOZA Racing’s Group Two with Saudi driver Abdulrahman Alshetwi making quick work of reserve driver Oliver Eppinger to overtake third place finisher Robert Kwiczynski from the previous round.

Austin Zalewski charged the field at the top of the bracket, defeating Cameron Mustard and Alexander Jaggard to advance to the Big 8. Alshetwi and Zalewski had a tough battle for the final four, with Alshetwi winning with his agility and consistency.

The Big Duck Club team consisted of three mostly riders who had yet to see the Final Four. The result showed how much the slow riders wanted to finish the points for the podium. Darius Ostreka, who was driving from the second seed, was eliminated in the 15th heat by 16th seed Roy Munoz.

In the other section of the group, Vadim Abramov beat seventh-ranked Kazuki Fukushi and continued his battle with Olivier Blais in 11th. Although Abramov was placed in the 26th seed, he beat Roy Munoz to take the top spot in the group and enter the final four.

The 32 major eliminations completed in 3DRAP group four. Alexander Element again easily glided his way through the group from the third seed in his class – pardon the pun.

Ernestas Jakubelis meets Element in the Grand 8, but Element proves to be an unstoppable force as he gets the win and advances to the Final Four.

The stage is set for the Traxion Final Four at Germany’s famous Nürburgring GP-Strek. Hack and Alshetwi battled hard for a place in the first place battle. Alshetwi fought hard, but Huck’s proximity was too impressive to overcome.

On the other side of the bracket, Abramov and Element square off. Element failed to start before the indicated line on the track and fell to Abramov. After some deliberation, the judges found Element guilty of the incident and awarded Abramov the win.

Element must now face Alshetwi to reach the lowest level on the platform. Alshetwi calmed down under the pressure, but Element’s determination did not waver. Element once again proved to be a strong and consistent competitor by finishing third in the bracket elimination phase.

The event started with 32 drivers, but now two are left to take the first place. Abramov’s Toyota Alteza was slightly overshadowed by Huck’s larger Nissan GT-R, but the smaller Toyota found more speed than Huck could beat.
