In an interview Monday with Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” legendary golfer Greg Norman gushed about LIV Golf, the PGA’s rival golf league sponsored by Saudi Arabia.
“I don’t care,” Norman said of the criticism his LIV Golf League has received. He added that LIV is “the future of golf” to grow the game.
Host Tucker Carlson asked Norman why golf fans are “crazy” about the new league and the money.
“I don’t know,” replied Norman. “I really don’t care, honestly.”
“I really like the game, and I want to improve the game of golf. And we at LIV saw that opportunity. We at LIV look not only for men but also for women. We at LIV look out for the NCA and the younger generations. We at LIV see it as a way of opportunities for these children to experience a new world out there. LIV is the future of golf. And it’s a very simple phrase and comment, but LIV is the future of golf because you never see what the future holds.
In the interview, Norman mentioned golf star Tiger Woods. changed There was an offer in the “neighborhood” of $700 million to $800 million to join LIV.
