Los Angeles Lakers; Inconvenient media day preview

The Lakers have been around all summer with a sense of what’s yet to come, especially when it comes to Russell Westbrook. But that’s never been true, and the Lakers head into Monday’s media day and will unfortunately have to explain their summer trading attempts.

On this week’s episode of “Can U Dig It” on the Silver Screen & Roll Network podcast, I’m joined by Raj Chipalu to review Monday’s media day and take your questions. First, the whole idea that Westbrook is on the team is surprising given how he finished the season and how hard the team tried to trade him.

Because of all those failed trade attempts, general manager Rob Pelinka will have to answer some questions about his failures to improve the team. As he promised to do In the earlier period. Although there is still time to do so, this winter has been very short to say the least.

All of this covered Darwin Hamm’s first media day as head coach. Also, without a complete or final list, it makes the job extremely difficult. On top of that, LeBron James and Anthony Davis will certainly make valuable comments to cover.

We discuss that and more, including a new potential trade partner for Westbrook.

You can listen to all that and more in our latest episode in the player below, and to make sure you don’t miss a single push forward, subscribe to the Silver Screen and Roll podcast feed iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher Or Google Podcasts.
