Masahiro Sakurai says it’s almost over from Smash Ultimate screenshots.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been a fan favorite since its release. The game has brought thousands of hours of enjoyment to players everywhere with regular updates and additions everywhere. It feels like the game is still alive and doing well even though the game was released in the last Warriors Pass. This is because of one person in particular.

No one predicted how popular the game was among its fans, more than Mr. Masahiro Sakurai. The director of the series has been giving life to the game for a long time by posting screenshots from the game. It was getting too long now that it was a daily tradition for Sakurai.

His screenshots always stood out from the rest because of his intrinsic connection to the entire series. The screenshots always radiated more lifelike energy and painted the game’s characters in the best possible light. As fans noticed this daily tradition, it became a part of their lives, waiting for the time of day when Sakurai would post another screenshot.

Unfortunately, it looks like this tradition won’t last long.

Masahiro Sakurai seems to be running out of content and admitted as much in his latest tweet. While many of his screenshots were taken during the game, Sakurai admitted to taking an additional 200 shots during development. But nothing lasts forever, and unfortunately, this tradition will not.

Sakurai said that the workday system will soon be completed as the screens are finished in August. While many fans are saddened by this, we’re all excited to see what Masahiro Sakurai’s creation brings next.
