NASCAR star, family escape Mall of America shooting |  Auto racing


NASCAR star Kyle Busch had a scary experience earlier this week when he and his family were at the mall in Minnesota when gunshots rang out.

The attack happened Thursday, Bush’s wife Samantha said on her Instagram account.

“If you’re watching the news about @mallofamerica we’re out and about and we’re fine,” she wrote on the social media site. “Inwardly it is the same with others praying.”

Busch is eighth in the NASCAR Cup Series standings with 633 points, four points behind seventh-place Joey Logano. Chase Elliott tops the rankings with 821 points.
