One of North America’s biggest CS:GO players could be returning to Evil Geniuses.
Peter “Stanslau” Jarguz is in talks with the organization to replace Anthony “CLASIA” Kearney to join the EG.CD roster, Dust2.us reports. This means that CLASIA will leave the blueprint project two months after its establishment.
Evil Geniuses achieved their greatest success in CS:GO under the leadership of Stanislav. The player and the rest of the team were signed after the Starladder Berlin Major 2019 and were playing under the NRG banner. Following their signing, the team won ESL One: New York 2019 and StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season Eight. The Canadian marked a path to victory in the online era at BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals and ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online NA.
In the year At the end of 2021, however, the team finished 15th-16th in the PGL Major Stockholm 2021, giving it to E.G. Since then, Stanilau has been suspended and has played for lower level NA teams including BHOP Esports. He broke up with his ex in July 2022.
In the new EG, he doesn’t join his old teammates Brehze or Searq, but instead joins one of the two teams created as part of the Blueprint Project. It was meant to create a fluid 15-man roster that could turn up at almost any tournament.
The main roster, however, is looking for changes and plans to bench Stewie2K and RUSH.
