Steph Curry, Warriors receive a warm welcome, gifts from NBA fans in Japan


Steph Curry, Draymond Green and the rest of the Warriors were welcomed by NBA fans at Tokyo International Airport.

“I’m glad to be here,” Curry said with a smile after landing. “The flight was good. Watched some movies, took a couple of naps and got ready to go. I am closed.

It didn’t take long for Jordan Poole to get a statue. A Warriors fan gifted the 23-year-old star a cat figurine to bring good luck to his wife.

Poole took it in stride and thanked the fan with a fist bump.

If you don’t already know, the “Draymond Green Show” is an international phenomenon. A fan in a Tokyo airport held up a sign that read Green’s new nickname, MVP — “Most Valuable Podcaster.”
