Great news for basketball fans in Australia, the NBA is making it easy to get your hands on the latest gear by opening a number of NBA Stores around Australia.
In partnership with The Fanatics, the NBA today announced a multi-year partnership to open the first brick-and-mortar NBA stores in Australia, with the first location at the Emporium in Melbourne opening in August, with a second flagship store opening in Sydney. Later this year.

In Australia, they are among the most passionate in the world,” said NBA Asia Vice President, Global Merchandising Lesley Rulloda.
“We recognize the appetite for all things NBA in Australia, and our partnership with Fanatics and Leeds will help meet the growing demand for NBA and WNBA team-branded merchandise by providing a wide range of physical retail spaces for fans to come together and celebrate their shared love of the game.”
On Tuesday, August 16, Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray will make a surprise visit to the Melbourne store to meet with fans.
Both NBA Stores offer a wide selection of NBA and WNBA merchandise and memorabilia, making it easy for fans to find jerseys of their favorite players, including all the Aussies in the league.
NBA Australia stores stock apparel, jerseys, headwear, sporting goods and collectibles from brands including Nike, Mitchell & Ness, New Era and Wilson.
The flagship stores operated by retail giant Leeds offer advanced online customization services for fans to personalize jerseys and caps, a signature feature at Leeds outlets.
