David Ojabo’s name may one day be part of a casual question about the NFL’s 2022 rookie class. On Tuesday evening, the CrowsThe second-round pick became the final member of the league’s final draft class to sign his rookie contract.

The 22-year-old linebacker was the 45th overall pick in this year’s draft. A native of Nigeria, Ojabo came to Unites State at the age of 17 and touched his toes in basketball before switching to football. Ojabo played his college football at Michigan, where he was not a starter until this season.

Ojabo made his final season at Michigan Countdown. An All-American last season, Ojabo collected 11 sacks as he helped the Wolverines capture the Big Ten title. One of the sacks came in Michigan’s emotional win over archrival Ohio State as the Wolverines beat the Buckeyes for the first time in a decade.
