TJ Oshie says Alex Ovechkin is a big fan in real life after Britney Spears sang on the team bus.

TJ O’Shea It can be screamed in Alex Ovechkin Face before the gamesBut according to the right wing of capital, it comes from a place of love and respect.

“Every day I see him on the field, I have the biggest smile on my face,” Oshie said He recently spoke on the Rink Live podcast.“Because I don’t know what will happen next.

While Ovechkin is one of the greatest players of all time, he doesn’t take himself as seriously as O’Shea, his teammate of the past seven seasons. That includes a lot of enthusiastic and off-key singing.

“For what he’s done and what he’s been able to do, he’s a great kid,” Oshie said. “A great teammate. Kind of funny. He Shamelessly sang Britney Spears in the back of the bus. It’s just a big flood.

“He’ll set the locker room on fire,” he continued. “He is a good leader. He really takes care of the boys. Obviously, if anyone’s vote carries more weight, it’s his. If the players need something, he’s the first one to speak up and he’s the one to go and get a day off or get the guys here or get the team to serve us food in this town or whatever. It was really fun to play with him.

Another of Ovechkin’s close friends and teammates, Dmitry Orlov, was recently asked about Ovechkin’s song after the two attended Artemi Panarin’s charity hockey game.

“I don’t sing like that,” Orlov said. he said. As translated by RMNB Igor Kleyner. “So, maybe, Sasha. He’s constantly appearing in (viral) videos, so he probably sings better. I saw that his clip with Sergei Fedotov singing ‘The Performance is Over’ was really popular. It’s time to go on ‘The Voice.'”

Orlov was referring to Ovechkin when he sang Polina Gagarina’s song on his birthday last week. Ovechkin, who seems to be in a competition to scream louder than Fedotov next to him, misses every note.

While Ovechkin may be silly off the ice, he is serious and determined on it. There his fun-loving nature comes out in other ways.

“I’ve never seen a guy on the ice who loves scoring goals or just loves his team,” Oshie said. “There are many times, when I scored a goal he came and gave me a big hug, I think the medics came and looked at my head. Maybe come see how this shoulder works because there might be a little A/C separation there. It’s just one of a kind.

“I absolutely love that guy. After all we’ve been through, he’s like a brother to me now.”
