Klay Thompson’s summer continues to heat up.
Fresh off his fourth NBA championship, the Warriors shooting guard gave fans a glimpse of his next victory lap from the Bahamas.
“Everything is better in the Bahamas,” Thompson captioned an Instagram photo of himself from the beach, “NBA Champs 2022!” Carved in the sand.
Thompson’s father, Michael Thompson, was born in Nassau. Michal, now 67, was the first foreign national taken in the 1978 NBA draft.
“I know my family is watching in Nassau [the NBA Finals]Thompson, 32, spoke after the Warriors beat the Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals.
“I can’t wait to come back this summer and celebrate with my whole family,” he continued.
Thomson is certainly enjoying a season to celebrate. Just last week, the five-time NBA All-Star was spotted at Dodger Stadium, applauding his brother, Trace Beer.
Thompson has worked tirelessly to come back from injuries in recent years, including a torn ACL in the 2019 NBA Finals and a torn right Achilles in November 2020.
In addition to the NBA title, Thompson added more hardware this summer after winning the award for Best Comeback Athlete at the 2022 ESPYs in July.
