“College Game Day” will feature the first all-conference game of the season in Week 4, and surprisingly, it’s in the SEC.
Reece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, David Pollack, Lee Corso and the offense are headed to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn., for a ranked SEC East division contest between No. 11 Tennessee and No. 20 Florida.
Tennessee is off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2016 under second-year coach Josh Huppel — coincidentally, the Volunteers last beat Florida and are riding a five-game winning streak in that contest. .
Florida, meanwhile, is looking to bounce back from a disappointing two-week layoff that saw the Giants lose to Kentucky and suffer a 31-28 victory at South Florida. That, of course, was a week 1 upset by No. 7 Utah in the swamp.
The Sporting News takes a look at Week 4 of the “Gameday” tour.
